From our first meeting in his office, I felt at ease, thanks to his warm and welcoming demeanor. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and supported, which fostered a sense of community within the school.
Bro. Thomas was a strong advocate for creative teaching methods, encouraging us to explore new approaches and utilize simple yet effective tools. He believed in the power of hands-on learning, often suggesting innovative activities like nature walks to engage students and promote deeper understanding.
One of his key focus areas was developing English language skills in young learners. He emphasized the importance of using gestures and expressions to make learning fun and interactive. Bro. Sathish K. Don, who took charge as the Principal of Montfort School, Hazaribag in 2023, has left a remarkable impact on the institution within just two years of his leadership. Known for his dynamic vision, firm discipline, and commitment to academic excellence, he steered the school towards greater heights during the academic years 2023–24 and 2024–25.
One of his most notable contributions has been in elevating the quality of education by ensuring innovative teaching methodsand a renewed focus on holistic learning. Under his guidance, classrooms became more engaging, with equal emphasis on academics, co-curricular activities, and moral values. Bro. Sathish believed that discipline is the foundation of success, and he instilled this principle throughout the school community. His emphasis on punctuality, orderliness, and respect for rules not only improved the overall environment but also shaped students into more responsible and self-disciplined individuals.

From the year 2016 to 2024, Montfort School, Hazaribagh was blessed with the dedicated leadership of Bro. Jayapal Reddy as its Principal. His tenure will always be remembered as one of transformation, growth, and renewed glory for the institution. Known as a man of development and patience, Bro. Jayapal Reddy guided the school with vision and wisdom, ensuring progress in academics, discipline, and holistic education.
During his eight years of service, Montfort School witnessed remarkable infrastructural growth.
